Hi! I'm Jules

My work blends functional nutrition, strength training, and soulful 70s-inspired energy to help my clients feel strong, aligned and fully in their flow. It took a long journey to get here...

I grew up in New Jersey, moved across the country (a few times and back), in search of mountains and meaning to this world that made no sense. After being told I was pre-diabetic at over 250 lbs (at the age of 20), I made the decision to take control of my health.

It was "get it together sweetheart or you're going to have a rough time by the time you hit 30," as my extremely stereotypical, sixty-something, Italian man from New Jersey doctor told me. Now at the age of 30, I've never felt healthier.

Through years of learning, unlearning, lifting, starving, binging, healing, and getting curious about my body, I rebuilt myself from the inside out. I healed my toxic relationship with food and dieting over and over again. Today, I bring that lived experience into every coaching relationship I build.

I’m a certified personal trainer, a dietetic intern soon completing my RD licensure, and  integrative and functional nutrition (soon-to-be-certified) practitioner. My approach is evidence-based, honest and empowering — grounded in real physiology, hormone health and sustainable behavior change.

If it’s not aligned with your body or your life, it’s not the method I use.

While I work with humans of all shapes and sizes, I specialize in

women in their 20s–60s: especially those navigating hormone shifts, PCOS, fertility changes, metabolism challenges, and the frustration of “doing everything right” but not feeling like themselves

athletes prepping for performance-based sport and endurance races (marathons, HYROX, triathlons, etc.)

The Funk’tional Method is where functional medicine meets functional movement, wrapped in a warm, supportive (and too real for her own good sometimes) coaching experience that empowers you to reclaim your health and feel at home in your body again.

Let’s get you feeling strong, balanced and back in your own groove.
